Description

Pancreatin & Lipase are digestive enzymes.

Digestive enzymes are complex proteins involved in digestion that stimulate chemical changes in other substances. They work optimally at specific temperature and pH.

Pancreatin is an effective enzyme supplement for replacing missing pancreatic enzymes used in a number of essential body processes, particularly digestion of foods. Pancreatin breaks down food in the acidic stomach as well as in the more neutral intestines.

Lipase is an enzyme necessary for the absorption and digestion of nutrients in the intestines. Most of the body’s Lipase is manufactured in the pancreas, although some of it is secreted in the saliva as well. When Lipase levels are insufficient to break down dietary fats, greasy, light-colored stools may result.

Pancreatin and Lipase may be helpful in instances of occasional inadequate fat digestion, indigestion and heartburn.
