Essential oil of Wintergreen is derived from the wintergreen plant (Gaultheria procumbens).
A mixture of 1 part wintergreen oil to at least 4 parts carrier oil may be applied to the skin to relieve headache, muscle strain, acne, tired feet, or stomach upset. Or a few drops may be added to bath water for a refreshing soak.
