Medical researchers have long attributed cardiovascular disease to its direct precursors – high cholesterol and high blood pressure. As a result, treatments for cardiovascular disease tend to address only cholesterol and blood pressure, without peering deeper into their origins. Now, research reveals that high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and many cardiovascular ailments are all associated with chronic inflammation. To combat inflammation and its causes may be a more effective method for reducing a wide range of health risks.
Causes of Inflammation
In and of itself, inflammation is simply your body’s reaction to a perceived threat, such as bacteria, a toxin, or a virus. When the body is wounded, for example, the injury may become swollen and inflamed as it heals. This is called acute inflammation, and it is a healthy, normal reaction. Over time, however, if the body is constantly bombarded with toxins, bacteria, and other threats, the result is often chronic inflammation.
One major contributor to this problem is poor diet. Enormous excesses of sugar, simple carbohydrates, and fats cannot be properly absorbed by your cells, so they are left to circulate in your blood and build up within blood vessels and organs. As your body tries to rid itself of these unwanted substances and the toxins that accompany them, inflammation occurs as a defense mechanism.
Other common triggers associated with chronic inflammation include high levels of physical and emotional stress, long-term bacterial infection, and severe allergies.
Health Risks
Within the last several years, the medical community has taken notice and is working to measure the effects of chronic inflammation on the body. The condition has been associated with cardiovascular disease, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, cancer, and even Alzheimer’s. Here are a few reasons why:
- While acute inflammation is necessary when the body is healing from a wound or trauma, chronic inflammation tends to damage healthy tissues over time.
- Chronic inflammation can irritate and impair the walls of blood vessels and arteries, making buildup and blockages in those vessels more likely.
- The resulting arterial build-up and hardening of the arteries is a direct contributor to all sorts of cardiovascular health conditions.
- The stress that inflammation puts on cells can create discrepancies in cell regeneration, which leads to the cellular DNA damage that is often associated with cancer.
- Inflammation naturally causes swelling and irritation in tissues, giving rise to painful conditions like rheumatoid arthritis.
Disorders like diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, and obesity also go hand in hand with chronic inflammation. Researchers are finding new links between inflammation and disease all the time.
Treatment
As it is with so many health problems, to treat inflammation one should start by treating the body as a whole. A natural, nutritional diet, for instance, can go a long way in reducing inflammation, as well a host of other health conditions. Holistic solutions that seek to bring the entire body to a state of health and wellness can also be extremely effective. One such solution is Double Helix Water.
This new phase of water – known as stable water clusters – was formulated by physicist, Shui Yin Lo, and researcher, David L. Gann, and exhibits a remarkable effect on the human body. When consumed with regular distilled water, the remedy helps to restore balance and wellness in much the same fashion as acupuncture. This effect can be seen especially in cases of inflammation.
Figure 1 is a thermal image of a woman with long-term arthritis who showed fast improvement after drinking Double Helix Water. Inflammation causes a distinct rise in body temperature in affected areas. The before-and-after images demonstrate how dramatically the inflamed areas of her wrists and hands were soothed and cooled by the treatment.
One more example is the infrared image in Figure 2, taken of a patient with diabetes. Diabetes is another illness that is highly correlated with inflammation; you can see in Figure 2 how the higher temperatures of inflammation were reduced after taking Double Helix Water.
In addition to chronic inflammation, stable water clusters have been shown also to relieve chronic pain, headaches, arthritis, autism, and even some emotional disorders, such as depression. Shop Double Helix Water products in the Living Clean Store, or read more about holistic wellness:
