Description
Your liver is the biggest and most important organ in the body. It has everything to do with how you live; that’s why it’s called the liver. Everything you eat, drink, breathe, or absorb through your skin is purified and detoxified by your liver. Whenever that organ is overwhelmed, you may feel tired and heavy.
The Dr. Clark Liver and Gallbladder Cleanse and Flush kit contains time-tested natural ingredients to help keep your liver and gallbladder healthy and clear of obstructions and to increase the production of bile for protein and fat digestion.*
There are two components to this cleanse: Liver Support Tea and the 2-day Liver & Gallbladder Flush. For best results, drink the Liver Support Tea for 1 to 2 weeks prior to the 2-day flush.
Epsom salts taste awful! That’s why the Dr. Clark Liver & Gallbladder Cleanse and Flush features magnesium sulfate—encapsulated Epsom salts.
How do the liver and gallbaldder function?
It is the job of the liver to make bile, 1 to 1 ½ quarts per day. Bile aids in the breakdown of proteins and fats. The liver is full of tubes (biliary tubing) that deliver the bile to one large tube (the common bile duct), which is connected to the gallbladder, the storage reservoir for bile.
About 20 minutes after you eat protein or fat, the gallbladder is triggered to squeeze itself empty and the stored bile travels down the common bile duct to the intestine.
The biliary tubes in a healthy liver allow the bile to flow with minimum restriction into the common bile duct. This Liver Support Tea and Flush may help you maintain healthier and cleaner bile ducts and thereby a good flow.
Cleaning Your Liver
Your body produces and eliminates waste every second, on four different paths:
- Through the lungs by breathing
- Through the skin by perspiration
- Through the kidneys by passing urine
- Through the large intestine by bowel movements
You have two main filters for detoxification: your liver and your kidneys. Your blood carries nutrients and waste from your digestive system through your liver filter, where toxins are broken down and nutrients are absorbed. Your blood (partly clean) then travels from your liver into your kidneys, which let all nutrients remain in your bloodstream but remove any toxins through urination.
Other Cleanses
For best results, the digestive cleanse, parasite cleanse and kidney cleanse should precede the liver and gallbladder cleanse and flush.
