   I agree with you Jason. 2009 would see a massive drop in the price of fuel, but an increase in energy bills.

   I’m glad hypermiling gets more and more popular. Sure we have the recession and higher gas prices to “thank” for that but maybe those harder times will teach people how to drive economicaly.

   I think it’s sad that people care about stuff like “saving money” and “helping environment” only when the economy sinks. I’d much rather see everyone care for when they don’t *have to*.
