Hypermiling on a highway commute
driving home from NKU on I-471 to 71 75 South via Cincinnati. Driving absurdly slowly (50 MPH) and hypermiling.
Looking backwards and to the left (to see all the tailgaters and speeders LOL).
Forwards view coming soon.
I got 49.8 mpg in a Toyota Echo (EPA: 29 37) on that trip and I regularly average in the high 40’s or low 50’s when I gas up.

Shutting off the engine and opening the throttle 100% to keep the engine spinning. Transmission must be in the D selection. If the engine is still spinning when the ignition is moved to Run, then the engine will refire without the need for the starter motor.
