I have been hearing about these green cars for a while now and people don't seem to have a bad word to say bout the cars. But further research shows me that there is a down side to the new cars as a diesel car produces half of the co2 emissions that electricity does when taking into consideration the fossil fuels used to power electricity. I would like to know if there are any more negatives that the car could produce for the environment.

I have seen taxi companies which only use green cars but i have yet to see chauffeur companies doing the same, has anyone seen any chauffeur companies going green?
