According to the online free dictionary, wind power is “power derived from the wind (as by windmills),” while another source stated that it is “the development of the static energy from the wind and conversion of it into a useful type of energy: electrical, thermal, or mechanical” Simply we can say that wind power is the conversion of wind energy into a more applicable form of energy, such as electricity by using wind turbines.
